Dr. Jenn Caselle has conducted underwater scientific research from the tropics to the poles for more than four decades. She is a research professor at UC Santa Barbara conducting conservation-focused research globally. Jenn designed and manages a large-scale Marine Protected area monitoring program of kelp forests across California with goals of assessing long-term changes due to climate and anthropogenic impacts. This program has involved 100’s of students over the years spending 1000s of hours underwater. She is a leading expert on reef fish ecology, with more than 125 scientific publications and was awarded the Bleeker Award for career contributions in IndoPacific Reef fish ecology. Jenn travels the world on expeditions with National Geographic Pristine Seas program, contributing to community based conservation of our oceans.
