If you receive a scholarship, the funds will be disbursed in March 2026.
> One exception: the Laurel Clark Sea to Space Human Physiology Research Grant will be disbursed in two $2500 installments—the first in March 2026 and the second upon receipt of an interim report.
> If you live in the United States, you will be sent a check in US dollars. Details will be provided upon notification of award.
> If you do not live in the United States, funds will be transferred to your bank account. You will be required to provide banking details so we can transfer the funds. Details will be provided upon notification of award.
> You are required to use your award within 18 months, i.e., by August 31, 2027.
> You are required to submit a report and a detailed financial account of how you spent the funds you requested by August 31, 2027. If you do not submit a report, you will be required to return the funds to WDHOF®.
> If you do not use your award, you will be required to return the funds to WDHOF.
YOU MUST OBTAIN PRIOR WRITTEN APPROVAL FOR ANY PROPOSED CHANGES IN THE SCOPE OF YOUR PROPOSED RESEARCH AND/OR IN THE PROPOSED USE OF FUNDS.
If you receive a training grant, you will get the funds after you upload an invoice or receipt to the grants portal. submit an invoice. Details for uploading invoices and receipts will be provided upon notice of award
