Kathy learned to dive in 1987 and has been hooked ever since. In response to the tremendous growth of the dive industry, she created Rothschild Dive Safaris and developed dive travel programs to exotic destinations worldwide. Kathy has dived all over the world and logged more than 1,000 dives. She was instrumental in opening up the Philippines, South Africa, Malawi, and Jordan as dive destinations for the US market. August of 2012 Kathy and her husband Ross followed their dreams and relocated to Costa Rica where they now live in paradise. Strongly committed to the environment, she volunteers for the Shark Research Institute, and several organizations in Costa Rica.
