Breanna Hernandez is an Environmental Science major and an emerging scientific diver based in Southern California. She conducts ecological research through Citrus College and has been actively involved in local conservation and community beach clean-up efforts since 2018. Breanna is working toward AAUS Scientific Diver certification to support future fieldwork in marine ecology, coastal restoration, and environmental monitoring. Passionate about expanding access to science and diving for underrepresented communities, she aims to bridge research, education, and conservation. With support from the WDHOF Advanced Dive Training Grant, Breanna will complete her Advanced and Rescue Diver training, strengthening the skills needed for her scientific diving career.
