Emily is currently a junior at Maine Maritime Academy enrolled in a double major studying Marine Biology and Small Vessel Operations. Her passion for learning about the environment led her to the world of scuba diving. She is now a scientific diver who hopes to continue her studies under water. This summer, she will be traveling to Anacortes, Washington, to assist with research on seven different native marine species, including two species of octopus and five echinoderm species.
