Gaby is a 4th grader from Illinois who loves animals, enjoys time outdoors, spending time cooking, running, and swimming and never turns down the chance for an adventure. Her creative pursuits include theatre, drawing, and making crafts, and has a heart for helping others, giving her time at Feed My Starving Children and the Hope International Marketplace through her church and numerous philanthropy projects at school. After doing a bubble-maker class in the Rosario Islands, Colombia, when she was 9, and getting a taste of scuba, Gaby couldn’t wait to turn 10 to start her Junior Open Water course. She is excited to use this grant to learn more about the ocean and see all the incredible marine life, and share her experiences with her classmates to inspire them to dive one day, too.
