Hailey is a conservation science professional located in Vancouver, Canada, and is passionate about protecting the biodiversity of our ocean, and fostering sustainable, equitable, and inclusive conservation spaces. Hailey holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria and is currently pursuing her Master of Science
in Environmental Practice with a Graduate Certificate in the Science and Policy of Climate Change at Royal Roads University. Hailey has held roles at Ocean Wise, Coexistence Films, and the BC Wildlife Federation among others, and has volunteered and collaborated with a variety of environmental organizations, such as the WWF Global Arctic Programme and the EU Arctic Forum in Belgium, the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, BC SPCA Wild Arc, Rocky Point Bird Observatory, and others. Hailey is excited to use scuba diving as another way to explore the incredible landscapes she calls home, and to inspire others to connect to our ocean!
