Heather is an underwater photographer, PADI Divemaster, and founder of Heather Seas The World, a platform dedicated to scuba diving travel and underwater photography. Through her work, she captures the ocean’s beauty—from graceful predators to the alien macro-world, aiming to foster a connection to marine life and inspire intercultural marine conservation. She also provides travel and photography advice, encouraging others to seek a life of sustainable exploration. A 2024 graduate of the University of Miami Rosenstiel School, she will begin law school in 2025 focusing on ocean law. With this grant, she will refine her storytelling through a specialized workshop, learning from expert underwater photographers.
