Imogen Parker uses art programming and marine science education to connect people and communities with the value of our oceans and the imperative to conserve them. She was the 2025 Our World Underwater Scholarship Society (OWUSS) Reef Environmental Education Foundation (REEF) Intern, where she used her scuba certifications to support fish monitoring and coral regeneration. She has developed educational programs that leverage art to foster interest and inclusivity in marine science. Being awarded this WDHOF grant in underwater photography will support her fascination with macro and blackwater subjects and inform her practice in oil painting, ceramics, and education.
