
Isabelle Stapley is a PADI Divemaster and CMAS Scientific Diver currently completing an MSc in Marine Systems and Policy at the University of Edinburgh. With a background in law and marine science, her work focuses on bridging conservation research, policy, and sustainable marine tourism. She has lived and worked in Indonesia for several years, supporting coral reef restoration and manta ray conservation. Her scholarship will support field-based research in the Nusa Penida Marine Protected Area, developing evidence-based strategies to balance reef conservation with community livelihoods and sustainable tourism.
