Kayla is a lifelong learner with a passion for marine ecosystems. After earning her B.S. from Stony Brook University, she worked with The Nature Conservancy as a seasonal conservation steward gaining hands-on experience in fieldwork and community engagement. This role sparked her love for outreach and environmental education. Kayla’s goal is to attend graduate school and combine her new diving skills with cutting-edge tools like GIS and population modeling to connect marine science with community-driven solutions.
