Kendra is a Divemaster, marine ecotourism guide, and research assistant living out her passion to spread awareness of marine ecosystems. All year round, she volunteers with Scouts Victoria to run and guide monthly dives for their Scuba Adventurous Activities Team, giving Scouts aged 15-25 the chance to explore the wonderful marine environment in Port Philip Bay and around the encircling peninsulas. She will soon be undertaking her Scuba Instructor Development Course, becoming the Team’s first female Instructor, so that they can continue providing young Scouts with the skills and knowledge needed to dive safely and responsibly. Outside of Scouts, Kendra works in marine ecotourism, leading guided seal and dolphin tours, conducting marine ecosystem research, and assisting in the running of a cetacean fin ID program.
