Mar is a student at Ball State University studying Media Production with three minors in Scuba, Biology, and Studio Art. Mar has deep passions for filmmaking and marine biology, which has led to pursuing a career as an underwater videographer. With these two awards, Mar will get hands-on experience with an underwater camera and will begin creating short documentaries on local aquatic life. By creating films that educate the public about the beauty and importance of the underwater world, Mar aims to help build a future where people are able to connect with and care for their local ecosystems.
