Morgan is a Ph.D. Candidate at Florida State University Coastal and Marine Laboratory (FSUCML) and specializes in shellfish aquaculture. As a child, her love for shellfish began with scalloping in the Big Bend region of North Florida. Once beginning graduate school, she decided to research bay scallops and optimize their aquaculture techniques in Florida for use in restoration. She has been instrumental in designing and developing methods for the newly established shellfish restoration and research
hatchery at FSUCML.
