Nabila grew up in the big city of Jakarta, Indonesia. After graduating in marine science, she pursued her career in coral restoration on a remote island in eastern Indonesia. She now serves as a Marine Biologist at Luminocean Conservation in Banda Neira, Indonesia. Her work focuses on coral restoration through larval propagation and coral spawning monitoring. She loves night diving to witness the magical phenomenon of coral spawning. She carefully rears the gametes until they reach the larval stage and then releases them back into the ocean. Her passion and her dreams are not just for herself. She is dedicated to inspire and motivate local women. Through the WDHOF scholarship, Nabila hopes to inspire others to believe that we can achieve our dreams in the marine or diving industry not through wealth, but through diligence and perseverance. To her, a scholarship is more that just financial support. It is a pathway to empower others, to grow, and to give back.
