Priscah is an early-career marine researcher and Reef Ranger at REEFolution Trust Kenya, with a strong foundation in ecological monitoring, particularly through the Snorkeling Reef Project. She also actively educates students on marine conservation. Priscah began her journey with REEFolution as a volunteer in April 2024, before being promoted to Reef Ranger in October 2024. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Resource Management and is deeply inspired by REEFolution’s innovative coral reef restoration techniques, including the use of coral nurseries and artificial reefs. With the support of the Diving School Grant, Priscah aims to further her skills by earning her open water and advanced diving certifications. This will enhance her ability to actively participate in coral nursery work, coral out-planting, and conducting vital surveys on coral growth, spawning, as well as fish and benthic biodiversity, strengthening her contribution to coral conservation efforts in the region.
