Rebecca is working to increase her diving training by completing her Divemaster certification. She hopes to use her dive training to have the skills to research marine environments more closely. Rebecca has graduated with both an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in marine biology and hopes to continue her schooling and research in the future. Her research focuses on how marine organisms respond to environmental stressors to better inform conservation and management on how to protect ocean ecosystems. The WDHOF Advanced Dive Training Grant will help Rebecca gain skills in diving with a dry suit, which will allow her to be better exposed to the ecosystems she is studying.
