Ruby is a sophomore at Villanova Preparatory School in California and fosters an unrelenting curiosity for human society, the natural world, and marine sciences. As an aspiring, ambitious student who strives to lead positive change, Ruby expects to use her training grant to battle ocean pollution in local beaches by introducing the beauty and vulnerability of marine life, launching new findings to her community, and to confidently understand and publicize her research conclusions. She awaits participating in professional labs and influential internships in the future by utilizing her newfound diving skills.
