Sandra is a junior at Slinger High School. Having achieved Jack Tar rank in her Mariner Girl Scout Troop, she helps plan and run stations at her local day camp, teaching younger scouts skills like fire building, wood tools, and canoeing. She has earned her Bronze and Silver awards, and is currently working on her Gold Award, the highest award in Girl Scouts. Her troop has planned a dive trip in the Caribbean for summer 2025. Sandra has earned her Open Water, Advanced Open Water, and Enriched Air Diver certifications, and will use this grant to earn the Rescue Diver certification.
