This team of awardees is comprised of four dynamic individuals dedicated to achieving a single mission: protecting the ocean around their beautiful island, Sri Lanka. Supun works in the hospitality industry and volunteers his free time participating in marine conservation efforts, Amila is a veterinary surgeon who uses her time to pay closer attention to threatened marine fauna, Sajani is an academic who is heavily involved in advocacy and policy development, and Kithmee is an environmentalist who works in different parts of the island to create better awareness about protecting our natural resources. The whole team aims to be more actively involved in field work.
