Autumn Blum is an entrepreneur, chemist and clean-ocean advocate. Scuba certified at 14, she is a PADI Master Scuba Dive Trainer, Trimix CCR diver, and founder of Scuba Girls. Combining her love of the ocean and her 20 years’ experience as a cosmetic chemist, Autumn founded Stream2Sea to educate about the dangers of chemical sunscreens and create safer alternatives. She collaborated with ecotoxicologists to develop the only suncare products in the world proven safe for fish and coral larvae. Leading the global movement to ban toxic sunscreens, Autumn testified before the USVI government and presented to the National Science Academies. During the COVID crisis, Autumn created a microplastic-free, eco-safe sanitizer, supplying over 200,000 bottles during our time of need.
