Ashlynn recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and a minor in Marine Science from the University of Hawaii. She is a certified Scientific Diver who has participated in several coral reef monitoring programs on Hawaii Island. Her goal is to attend graduate school where she can continue to research coral reefs and gain diving experience. She plans to increase her professional diving experience as well by completing Divemaster training and becoming an instructor for Scientific Divers. She wants to use her interdisciplinary experience gained through Divemaster training to promote citizen science and increase environmental stewardship for all divers.
