Audrey grew up in the Monterey Bay area surrounded by nutrient-rich waters and ecology-minded mentors. She now attends Stanford University and is pursuing a B.S. in Ecology and Evolution. In 2021, she will be embarking on a sailing research expedition in the Eastern and Central Pacific with the primary goals of educating youth and supporting local marine conservation. This award will support her dive gear and training for the upcoming voyage. She is especially in love with snails, cold water, and nudibranchs.
