Julyne obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree from the University of Papua New Guinea.Her passion for marine resource management and conservation has driven her to successfully establish an informal “No Take Fishing Zone” in her community. She plans to gain skills and more in-depth knowledge in the practical world of marine science to effectively use the skill set and experience in advocating for conservation locally, nationally and internationally, if given the opportunity.She aspires to be a certified scuba diver so she can document and build a database for the marine life on her island as well as other maritime communities in Papua New Guinea.
