Maisy earned aB.S. in Chemistry from the University of Papua New Guinea in November 2020. She comes from the beautiful island country of Papua New Guinea (PNG) - known for its abundance in resources, extremely high biodiversity, and its extraordinary cultural diversity. PNG’s remarkable diversity is indisputable in its oceans as well - filled with incredible life and mystery. In 2020, she successfully incorporated a local NGO called the Fish Reef Project PNG with the vision to see ocean life thrive in her country through the creation and placement of man-made reef units. She is excited to have the opportunity to learn how to dive, knowing it’s an essential start to her work with the Fish Reef Project PNG.
