Morgan is a third-year undergraduate student at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science in marine biology with a minor in psychology. She is originally from the island of Bermuda and has a deep love for the ocean but only found her passion for scuba diving after moving to Hawai‘i to further her education in 2021. Since then, she has completed her open-water certification, a field course in underwater ecological surveying techniques, and is keen to attain her scientific diving certification, supported by this grant, to pursue a career in marine biology research. She is very excited for the research possibilities that will arise in the future as a result of having obtained this training.
