Sofia is a junior at the University of Hawaii majoring in Marine Science and completing a Data Science certificate.Throughout the past couple of years, Sofia has been part of various cutting-edge research projects. Her focus and passion is on applying data science and innovative technologies to enhance coral reef research in an interdisciplinary manner. She hopes to attend graduate school with this same focus track, and advance her diving skills in order to be able to collect coral reef data for her research.
