The basic dive training grants are valued at $1000:

Several basic dive training grants are being offered to women or men who wish to learn to dive through approved internationally-recognized scuba diving programs.

$500 for dive training (however, the applicant may request the entire award amount--$1000--for training)

One award (SDI Basic Dive Training Grant) provides training directly through one of the SDI dive training facilities.

$500 for dive gear (or the balance remaining after at least $500 has been used for dive training)
arrow_right
Dive training must culminate in a certification from an internationally recognized diver-training agency.
