Females and males with current or pending enrollment in a degree-granting graduate program are eligible to apply. A research proposal detailing the objectives, hypotheses to be tested, methods, anticipated results, and alternative approaches is required. The grant is for 18 months, during which time the recipient will be expected to have completed the proposed research. It is expected that results of the research will be submitted for presentation at an academic conference and/or submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal within six months of project completion.
