Two scholarships ($1500 each) are offered. The Sherry Reed Memorial Undergraduate Marine Conservation Scholarship (women only) and the Oceanic Research Group Undergraduate Marine Conservation Scholarship are open to qualified applicants of any age who are enrolled in an accredited undergraduate academic or research program in the field of marine conservation or a related discipline. The applicant should clearly state how the intended use of the scholarship will advance marine conservation.

This scholarship is intended to support independent research and/or fieldwork at an accredited university; it will not support salary, tuition, living expenses, student loan payments, or prior incurred expenses. It will not support the purchase of dive equipment or underwater cameras unless they are specific to the proposed research and are justified in the application.
